SKU: 2021AE08-14SCW
Description:

Finding time to be still and quiet is always difficult. Even ten minutes set aside to do nothing can revive and refresh and slowing down to observe what is around us in our natural environment can do the same. Through this virtual workshop we will teach ourselves to slow down and breath through several drawing activities, including blind contour drawing (where we only focus on observing, not the outcome). We will explore meditative mark-making and ways to train our eyes to see the details that we otherwise could miss. We will pair this with ways to slow down and breathe, helping us understand how to reset our minds and bodies through simple action. Participants will supply their own materials, listed below.
