SKU: 2021AE11-13IWP
Description:

Artists often draw inspiration from the natural world. Taking a deep look around the gardens, participants will collect specimens and ideas. These will serve as the source material for creating images using frottage, monoprint, and drawing. Frottage, or rubbings, has been used around the world to document everything from fish to trash and to spread information. Monoprint is a method of printmaking to create a unique image. Plants such as bamboo, reeds, and other plants can be used as drawing implements. Each technique provides its own mark and together these can build fascinating, nature-based artworks.
