Edwina’s yoga journey began at retirement in 2014, when she found she needed more than daily walking to increase flexibility and balance. She began with daily classes in Gentle/Adaptive yoga, then moved to the floor – she was hooked on yoga! Four years after that first class, she started her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Her first yoga teaching opportunity came as group instructor at Sundance Square’s Sunset Yoga Series in the Fall of 2018. Three versions of yoga poses were presented. Also, that fall she began teaching at MINDSET leading early morning Wake-up and stretch classes. These classes integrate stretch, yin and restorative poses. She continues these classes today. Outside the Studio, she has coached private clients and held weekly fitness classes at local business. Edwina volunteers at the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge leading a monthly Yoga on the Boardwalk series as well as hosts a free monthly Meditation Walk and Yoga in the Park at local parks.
